From RAM to Revit, without the rebuild.
You already designed the steel in RAM. Voxel Link builds it in Revit for you: it loads the families, places the members, carries over sizes, cambers, studs, and reactions, and annotates your framing plans to your standards. When RAM changes, run it again and the tracked items update.

The design is done. Then someone builds it again in Revit.
On most steel projects, the RAM model and the Revit model are built separately. Every beam, column, and tag gets placed twice, and every RAM revision means checking it all again.
Rebuild it by hand
- Find and load the right structural families
- Place beams, columns, braces, and joists level by level
- Re-enter sizes, cambers, stud counts, and end reactions
- Tag every member and set up the framing plans
- Cross-check the model against RAM output
RAM changes late in the project? Find what moved and do it again.
Run it from RAM
- Revit families load on the fly during the run
- Members are created from your RAM model
- Sizes, cambers, studs, reactions, and moment connections come with them
- Framing plans and members are annotated to your standards, if you want them to be
- Unity check warnings are listed for your review
RAM changes late in the project? Rerun Voxel Link and the RAM-tracked items update.
Four steps, all inside Revit.
Voxel Link is a Revit add-in. It isn't a live link: you run it when you're ready, and you run it again when the design changes.

01
Install and sign in
Download the installer after you sign up, then sign in to Voxel Link inside Revit with your own account.
Revit 2021–2026 · any installed RAM version -
02
Run a new import
Point Voxel Link at your RAM model and choose your settings: connection symbols, annotation style, a minimum reaction value to keep small reactions off your drawings, and a reaction scale factor if you need one. Your settings are remembered for each RAM model.
-
03
Watch it build, then review
A progress bar shows the beams, columns, and plan annotation being processed. Unity check warnings are flagged during placement and collected in a summary at the end of the run that you can print.
Engineering review stays with you -

RAM changed? Run it again.
Rerun Voxel Link and it updates the RAM data it tracks. Framing you added outside RAM, and Revit parameters it doesn't track, are left alone, so your model adjustments carry through each update.
The data you'd otherwise re-enter by hand.
Beams
Section sizes, cambers, studs, and reactions, plus moment connections (extensions and stubs) with their own start and end symbols.
Columns
Sizes, rotations, and splices (global or user override), plus offsets, sloping columns, and hanging columns across multiple floors.
Braced frames
Vertical braced frames come across with the rest of the framing.
Joists and joist girders
Included alongside the steel members on each level.
Stories and levels
Story names and elevations, RAM floor types used more than once, and a vertical shift when a story needs a different elevation.
Framing plans and tags
Plans and members annotated with Revit-like settings that follow your firm's standards. Plans and members that aren't from RAM are ignored.
Also: you can bring multiple RAM models into one Revit model, and you can ignore lateral design results for early schematic framing plans. RAM framing typed as "Other" is skipped. One RAM model imported into multiple Revit models is not supported. Full feature list
Made for engineers who check their work.
Voxel Link moves the data. You stay in control of the design. Here's how it helps you check what it built.
-
Unity check warnings, member by member
Green traffic lights in RAM Manager don't guarantee every unity check is under 1.0. Voxel Link checks during placement, flags each occurrence, and gives you a printable summary at the end of the run.
-
Your Revit edits stay yours
Only items from the active RAM import are processed. Framing added outside RAM and untracked parameters, such as offsets you've adjusted, are left as you set them.
-
The engineer of record stays in charge
Voxel Link doesn't run structural analysis or replace engineering review. It handles the repetitive modeling work so you can spend your time checking and designing.
Both results are from Voxel Labs' own demo model. First runs take longer, and your times will depend on model size and hardware. The trial is the best way to see how your models do.
Answers for everyone who has to say yes.
If you run RAM and document in Revit"Will it bring my design across, and can I check it?"
- Your RAM design data comes with the members: sizes, cambers, studs, reactions, moment connections, column splices, and more.
- Warnings you can act on: unity check warnings are flagged as each member is placed and listed in a printable summary.
- Revisions without starting over: rerun after a RAM change and Voxel Link updates what it tracks, leaving your own edits alone.
- Try it on a model you know: run a past project you've already checked and compare.
If you own the Revit environment"Will it fit our setup and standards?"
- Versions: Revit 2021–2026 and any installed version of RAM, tested back to 23.00.01.275.
- Built-in version check: if the RAM API on a desktop doesn't match the RAM file, Voxel Link stops with a warning instead of importing.
- Your standards: families load on the fly, and annotation follows your firm's settings, including a minimum reaction value.
- Team workflows: works with worksharing and the cloud, and can bring multiple RAM models into one Revit model.
- Licensing: runs on any desktop in your office. Each user signs in with their own login, tied to their desktop.
If you approve the tools"Is it worth a pilot, and what does it commit us to?"
- A real 30-day trial: every feature, with no cap on test models, first runs, updates, or trial users.
- No payment information to start. If you don't subscribe, the trial simply ends and the add-in stops working.
- Simple pricing: a monthly base charge plus a small monthly charge per user. Pricing details come with your trial access.
- No surprise billing: if you subscribe early, payment still doesn't start until the 30-day trial ends.
- You control seats: the account owner adds or removes users from their profile at any time.
What Voxel Link does, and what it doesn't.
It does
- Transfer completed RAM steel design data into Revit
- Load families and create or update members
- Annotate framing plans and members to your standards
- Flag unity check warnings for your review
- Update RAM-tracked items each time you rerun it
It doesn't
- Run structural analysis or check your design
- Replace engineering review
- Keep a live, real-time link (you rerun it to update)
- Send changes from Revit back to RAM
- Import one RAM model into multiple Revit models
Voxel Link transfers design data and surfaces warnings, but it does not perform structural analysis or replace engineering review. The engineer of record remains responsible for verifying the design and the model.
Everything you need to test it on your own models.

Pricing information
So you can plan the next step before the trial ends.
Voxel Link runs on the Voxel Labs platform. Both are included in the trial. Choose the trial during sign-up.
Does Voxel Link check or analyze my design?
No. It transfers design data from RAM into Revit and flags unity check warnings it finds during placement. Structural analysis and engineering review stay with you and the engineer of record.
Is it a live link between RAM and Revit?
No. You run Voxel Link when you're ready and run it again after RAM changes. Each rerun updates the RAM data it tracks.
What happens to changes I've made in Revit?
Only items from the active RAM import are processed. Framing you added outside RAM, or from other RAM models, is left alone. Revit parameters outside the tracked items, such as offset values, are ignored, so your adjustments are kept on later updates.
Which versions of Revit and RAM are supported?
Revit 2021 through 2026, and any installed version of RAM, tested back to 23.00.01.275. If the RAM version on a desktop doesn't match the RAM file, Voxel Link stops with a warning. Update the RAM file, or run the import on the desktop that ran the analysis. Version details
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. You can trial Voxel Link without entering any payment information. If you don't subscribe, the trial simply expires.
Can my team try it too?
Yes. The person who creates the account can add users during the trial, and there's no cap on the number of trial users, test models, or runs. Each user gets an email to set up their own login.
How does pricing work?
A monthly base charge for access, plus a small monthly charge per user (minimum one). Full pricing comes with your trial access. If you subscribe before the trial ends, payment doesn't start until the 30 days are up.
What does installation change on my machine?
The installer detects which versions of Revit are on your machine, lets you choose which ones to install for, and copies the add-in files into those Revit add-in folders. The next time you open Revit, you'll be asked to load the add-in, so check with your IT team about their policy. Voxel Link then appears in its own Voxel Labs panel on the Add-Ins tab.
